- A high school in Montreal present a weekly Math puzzle for
you to solve. Answers are posted the following week. Puzzles are written
in English and French. You can even look back at the older puzzles. Great
Problem Solving puzzles!

- Dept. of Treasury site for "Frequently Asked Questions
about United States Paper Currency" includes information related to
money such as printing; circulation, portraits, design, currency denominations;
buying, selling, and redeeming currency notes and legal tender status.

- Barbara Feldman's sydicated newspaper column "Surfing
the Net with Kids" is hot linked at this sight. One of the columns
of the past year was on "Paper Money" (March 3, '98) another
was titled"Stock Market Sims" (Dec. 9, '97) Each column includes
reviews of four or five highlighted web sites related to the topic and
then several additional sites that she titles as "honorable mentions".

- This Web site is designed by kids for kids. The information
presented examines stocks, bonds, and mutual funds and teaches the principles
of saving and investing. A stock game is included.

- Cael Chappell's site includes links to the following areas
of paper currency collecting: Anaatomy of a Banknote, Currency Identifier,
Using Keywords or Denominations, Tips for Collectors, Related WWW Links,
and Tips for Educators. Chappel believes that banknotes are one of the
best ways to get children interested in geography, math, history, civics
and foreign cultures. This October, Chappel will give a limited number
of banknote packets to selected educators who submit a proposal for classroom
