Barbara Feldman's sydicated newspaper column "Surfing the Net with Kids" is hot linked at this sight. Collecting Paper Currency for Fun

Cael Chappell's site includes links to the following areas of paper currency collecting: Anaatomy of a Banknote, Currency Identifier, Using Keywords or Denominations, Tips for Collectors, Related WWW Links, and Tips for Educators. Chappel believes that banknotes are one of the best ways to get children interested in geography, math, history, civics and foreign cultures. This October, Chappel will give a limited number of banknote packets to selected educators who submit a proposal for classroom use of the notes.
