American Girl website

has some great ideas for girls and boys -- related to the American Girl books.  There are even some games to play. 

Ben & Jerry's Thanksgiving 

Great links for the Thanksgiving theme including a virtual tour of Plymouth Plantation in MA.  Thanksgiving Fun facts and trivia, dessert recipes, links to Mayflower information, coloring pages, etc.

Fascinating site full of multimedia resources that can be useful to the classroom.  Check out the American memory section, the Learning Page, and Today in History.   

Fun School

is a collection of games such as Grammar Gorillas, Fresh Baked Fractions, Change Maker, Where is That?, and Spellaroo. Includes level of difficulty. Teachers can sign up to create a quiz that students can access.

SpaceDay    

offers curriculum material, photos, and a host of resources related to outer space and space travel    

KidsWeb

contains a list of links to information that is understandable and interesting to schoolkids. There are also links to external lists of material on each subject which more advanced students can browse for further information. The links on the pages will be updated on a weekly basis.

'Kids Castle   

Smithsonian Magazine is planning a new magazine, Kids Castle.  It will feature articles written about the things that interest kids:  sports,history, the arts, sciences and outer space, with great photos.
